When people buy into things like Nutrisystem and Sensa and any kind of easy way out weight loss things. If a person actually wants to lead a healthy life and stay fit and healthy forever, they have do to it on their own. You can’t have someone plan out your life and every single meal for you. It’s just lazy. America is lazy. They want the easy way out of weight loss. Sure Nutrisystem may work and you might and probably lose weight, but you are not learning about the kinds of food your body needs to run well and efficiently. Once you are out in the real world and making your own meals you’ll be lost. And Sensa, is just senseless. If you think you can sprinkle some stuff on all the crappy unhealthy food you eat you’ll be healthy, you’re crazy. Yeah you might eat less, but you’re still consuming all that fat and everything else, just less of it in a sitting. It doesn’t make McDonald’s healthier for you. It just gives people an excuse to eat like complete crap. I think that if a person is completely serious about losing weight and leading a healthier life, they need to fully committed to it. They can’t half ass it. If you have the determination you should have and you actually really want to change your life, you’d do it. You’d put in the time, the sweat and the energy and get it done. Because it’s what you truly want and are passionate about. I just wish people would WORK for what they wanted. Stop taking the easy way out and actually take pride in what you want. Americans all want instant gratification. And that really sucks. When you work for something and work hard for it for a long time it is so much more rewarding and gives your life so much more meaning.
With all that said, this blog is officially my new health blog. It’s about how to be healthy the right way and specifically how to do it in college. It’s going to discredit all the fad diets and show people why eating healthy and exercise cannot be replaced.
i sometimes always wish i had more good friends at school.
i mean i have a great boyfriend and all.
but sometimes i feel like without him i would not have too many friends here.
like close friends that i can talk to about anything and count on.
he’s about the only friend i have like that here.
i wish i had more.
thats probably one of my biggest insecurities being here.
i cant wait til march 3rd when my friends all come and i can feel normal again.
i love my friends.
i miss them soo much.
